Ultraman Art Assets

In early 2020, I was contracted to work on a few projects for a start-up indie dev studio. The studio had obtained the rights to Ultraman, one of the biggest media franchises in Japan.

I assisted in development on two Ultraman games. One was launched on the app store, while the second one never saw the light of day.

Most of the work was developing branding, user interfaces, and designing in-game collectibles. Additional support was also provided for physical products and digital events.

Marketing Assets

Apple Appstore & Google Playstore carousel images.

Social media visuals. I designed a general template and we would post daily Ultraman monsters, episodes, and facts.
Unlockable Cards
The game at one point featured collectible trading cards that would of unlocked content in-game. I utilized official imagery of the monsters from the Ultraman series to create a series of collectible "vintage" cards. The designs are a homage to vintage "pachimon" cards.
3D video versions of the cards were completed in After Effects and were intended for the unlock screen.

Ultraman Watch
A physical watch was planned as a tie-in product for the game. I assisted in the design of packaging & marketing materials for Zinvo & Elevated Games' Ultraman Watch. The packaging features Ultraman's iconic chest insignia.
