Being a game from 2007, creating items for Team Fortress comes with limitations. Cosmetics are generally limited 1400 triangles, with the additional challenge of the characters lacking necessary body groups to replace whole torso or legs. Because of this, modeling and rigging over the default player-model is necessary.
